Tragedy for Ever

4th October 2009, my visit to Kolkata was the most disastrous and shocking day of my Life. Life was never going to same for me.

A very Challengng New Year - 2009 has come

A very challengng New Year - 2009 has come. The past year was the worst year of my life both emotionally and socially. For India 2008 was one of the worst years too. For the World its was bad too as World Economy blasted to almost zero.

Hope the new year brings the best out of me and my personal life.
Hope India become better politically and more IT enabled.
Hope India is able to tackle terror attacks and Pakistan better.

First Year of Service Completed

Today I completed 1 year in TCS. I got an icrement of more than 20% and everybody around me was happy for me.

Exactly 1 year back i was joining TCS with bewildered mind.. whether i deserve to be here? Now i think i don't. IT industry is not what you study for in IT courses.

Today when i think what i gained and what i lost !! well I lost a lot.. Friends, happiness and peace and gained a little money... and money which is never enough !!

But i still hope after 1 year of suffering something good might be waiting ahead me in Life !!

Convocation at BIT Mesra

Atlast i took some relief from my office and travelled to Kolkata, then to home at Jamshedpur. The Prime Goal was to Attend the Convocation programme at BIT Mesra, Ranchi on 22nd of May, 2008. The stay in Mesra was awsome and weather was just as serene as heaven. My pareents were also present when i recieved my degree in the Presence of The Governor of Jharkhand.The stay in jamshedpur was great too with those delicious food and masala cold-drinks on road sides were a real Treat.

On 28th I was back in Office in that same un-organic life style. !! Ohh Please some one save me.

First 2 Months in Mumbai ( TCS )

When we came to Mumbai..nothing was there what
we expected. Dirty roads, shaggy homes and people
with no concern for others.

First day of office was same as ILP where TCS
tried to show how employee friendly it is..but FAILED.

In my interview for Project i conveyed my unwillingness
to work in Mumbai..... but got all adverse remarks from
senior management.

To my ill fate i got project for such a client where there
is 24x7 work, no weekends and no development. Only
thing to do is to read thousands of mail a day and attend
phone calls.

There is no release so life getting dificult for me in Mumbai.

Durga Puja and Diwali came and went... without giving
any happiness to mind and soul !!!

Last Day in TCS ILP....

TCS Initial Learning Programme (ILP)
got over today. Within days i will be in
MUMBAI.

Among many happy moments to cherish
the day ended with shocking news of
some people being sent for re-training
in Trivandrum !!

No words to describe the moment .

Though in this ILP i felt very let down
by TCS , I made many friends here...
and hope they remain my friend !!

Got Base Branch in TCS Mumbai

Today i Got my Base Branch... TCS.

I big Personal Loss for me.. and
may be a Professional gain.......

But i feel like totally HELPLESS and useless today..

Just don't know what to Do.....

May GOD help my situation !!!

My Sister got Admission BIT Mesra

Today My Sister took part in counselling for B Arch Course
through AIEEE. She Got Admission in the choice of her college...

Which happens to be My University Birla Institute of Technology-Mesra
from where i have done my MCA.

Everyone must be quite glad with her efforts.

TCS ILP - I Joined TCS

Yesterday I reached a deserted location in Greater Noida
to begin my professional career in TCS. It was a initial training
of TCS in Training Centre, Knowledge Park 3, greater Noida.

This looks to be a difficult place to spend 2.5 months.

I got mail to join TCS

On 21st June i went to college and
sat on Net just to check my mails.

To My surprise :
New mail : Welcome to TCS...
join TCS ILP on 2nd July !!!

2nd July ..i was shocked..I was
expecting it in Aug and i was very
relaxed.

I was not at all prepared to leave Kolkata
and there were very unwrapped work left..
college..friends..luggage...

I had to suddenly leave everything,
..Everybody

I went back to Jamshedpur..to do all
complex paper work ( Of TCS).

I will catch a flight from kolkata to
Delhi..on 1st july.

Last 2 days i was in kolkata...one of the
Most DIFFICULT DAYS of my LIFE.

Just did not wanted to face anybody!!!

Our Last Day in BIT (MCA)

We Had our Final semester Presentation
today (25 May 2007)....and our college life got over!!!!!!

We our now free of all college dutiesand sadly we R also
free from all the charm that a college gives .

We Friends were together for the one Last Time.....
After today all will bedispersed in all corners of
India and abroad.

A very sad Day...Spent very happily !!!

I Got a JOB (Placed in TCS)

Yesterday I had given interview for placements in TCS.
After a long awaitful night, I got the news of my LIFE.
All those of us who had qualified thier technical rounds
and had given THE PERSONAL INTERVIEW were waiting
inside CAT premises (BIT Mesra).

Few minutes later Mr. B B Pant(Placement Incharge) started
to announce the results. Me and Abhishek Khanna(BIT Jaipur)
had given our interviews simultaneously and our sleeping beds
were adjacent. We woke up all night !!

The names started ...., ... ,Abhishek Khanna, Abhishek Kumar,... !
And we both became highly juviliant. After confirming my results ...
I was a much relaxed man. Shailesh and Pragya were there to
congratulate me. I rushed to my hostel room and announced my
success. I was the first one to be placed from BIT Mesra, Kolkata Ext.

Now i was a memeber of Tata Consultancy Private Ltd.
Soon in coming weeks almost all my friends got placed in Accenture,
IBM, wipro, Flextronicss and Zensar .

My Life changed altogether today. I called up all my friends, family
and close ones to express my joy.

There were friends who always supported me when i was very (very)
tensed while i was preparing for my placements. I did not told my
parents that my placements have started! I just told them afterwards
that "I got the JOB".

TG sir (BIT kolkata) was always there to support me.
Before TCS placements process I sat for Microsoft and Oracle.

Microsoft written was good but i could not clear it.

Oracle written was easily cleared but i was not expecting it. I was
loitering near the CAT unshaven when Pant sir announced the
names to face the interview..and the first name he called out was
.. ABHISHEK KUMAR. I was stunned ! I rushed back to my hostel
room half KM away from CAT..shaved, dressed and ran back...
I was late. In a tensed mood i entered the room for the Technichal-
Interview.... and it was a disaster !

Two days after this TCS came .
Rest is Story.

Great Days of My Life (10+1)

We (School Friends) all took Admission in the same
school(NHES, Jamshedpur) and we were the First
batch ISC from our school (1999-2000). We were
the senior-most and most looked upto students in
school and we used to take full priviledge of that in
bunking our classes and having fun.

We were always keen on taking responsibilty of the
extra-curricular activities just to avoid boring Bio &
chemestry classes. With Neela Ma'm math classes
were fun and to add taste we had our own :
SHAIWAL SRIVASTAVA.

Shaiwal was a student from DBMS (10th) and could
only secure science admissions in our school. He was
the last face that any teacher wanted to see.
'Antilog Tan Inverse 7 ' and ' Potassium ketocynide ' were
his permanent answers to all questions in maths and
Chemestry.... And he never bunked classes just to
harass the teachers. Now he is a Lieutenant in Indian
Armed Forces !!

I remained busy as "Bhatakti Aatma" in both the sections
while Awanish and Binay were right up to thier Job.
Amar never used to go to school in complete Uniform.
Ashish remained busy with us or with his Scooter, also
he had some " Side-Views ". There were some GR8
IIT Aspirants in our class such as Pritam Chaki, Amit
Ghosh, Deb Kumar and Nilabh Verma(& Rajeev).
Somnath and Gurjot were the Music Lovers/Artists !
Tamaal Chatterjee was the GR8 Lover (Vishal too) .

The Other section had damsel Ladies and the Casinova
Bhatia (Gurpreet).Misbah and Varun added some hard
flavour! Gurusharan Singh was the Rich Devil Sardar.

Study was the last thing to think !!! All of us easily got
Promoted to 10+2. Then Studies started to take its toll.
That year I read almost half the novels of our Library.
